OUR MISSION
WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT At GracePoint, we want to help people connect with Christ by showing them the love of Jesus without partiality or judgment. We love and accept people as they are, but we want to help people grow to be like Christ. This growth doesn't come through self-effort, programs, or church ministry, but by the transforming work of God's grace.
OUR APPROACH We want to serve as Jesus' hands and feet while HE accomplishes his mission. We approach ministry believing that God's grace both enables our effort AND provides the results. Our five-fold focus is Grace, Growth, Groups, Gifts, and Glorify.
GRACE Salvation happens in a person's life only by the amazing grace of God.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8
GROWTH Receiving Jesus as Savior is just the first step. It is essential for a person to develop his or her faith.
“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7
GROUPS Spiritual growth happens best in small groups.
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” Acts 2:42
GIFTS God gives us incredible gifts when we receive Christ as our Savior: the gift of eternal life, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and spiritual gifts to use to build others up.
“Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them…” Romans 12:6
GLORIFY We were created to glorify God with our lives. Let us cultivate a lifestyle that worships him in everything we do!
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
